Users’ personal data processing policy.

This document provides a general description of the procedures for managing the processing of personal data on the website www.saggiosrl.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) with reference to the information pertaining to the users that consult it (the document does not cover processing performed on other websites that may be consulted by the user by visiting links present on the Site). It is a general document that provides information on the criteria used to ensure that the personal data processed on or through the Site is handled appropriately.

Data controller
Browsing the website www.saggiosrl.com may lead to the data relative to identified or identifiable users being processed. The Data Controller in this case is Saggio S.r.l., with legal office in Via delle Monachelle 69/B, 00040 Pomezia (Rome).

Location of personal data processing
The data connected to the web services of this Site will only be processed at Saggio’s above-mentioned legal office by the company’s technical staff who have been appointed to do so, or by persons that may be appointed to perform occasional maintenance operations.
The personal data will only be communicated, and if necessary disclosed, based on the terms contained in the Privacy Code: with the consent of the interested parties or in cases in which this is legally authorised, based on the regulations contained in articles 24 and 25 of the Privacy Code.

Browsing data
When the indicated websites are browsed, the IT systems and software procedures that power them collect some personal data implicitly transmitted during the use of Internet communication protocols. Examples of this type of data are the pc IP addresses or domain names used by the users who connect to the site, the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of requests, the method used to forward a request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code that indicates the response provided by the server (success, error, etc.) and other information relative to the user’s operating system and IT context.
Although the above-mentioned data alone cannot be traced back to identified users, they could be used to allow the users to be identified if cross checks are carried out with data held by third parties. In any case, these data are only used by the Controller in order to elaborate anonymous statistics about how the site is consulted, and to ensure that the same is working properly, and they are immediately cancelled after use. Said data could also be used to verify the identity of the perpetrators should any IT crimes occur causing damage to the site. Instead, the latter hypothesis aside, the relative data are not usually kept on file for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
The users’ personal data can be collected with the voluntary participation of the same, when an email is sent to the addresses stated on the site or an electronic form on the site is submitted. When an email is sent, the Controller automatically collects the email address of the sender, which is necessary in order to reply to the request, in addition to any other personal data contained in the communication. The personal data collected in this way will only be used by the Controller to reply to the email received, and for the purposes of subsequent related communications. When electronic forms are submitted in order to request information, Saggio automatically collects the personal data entered in these forms. The personal data collected in this way will only be used by the Controller to reply to the request for information received, for the purposes of subsequent related communications, and to execute the service requested (shipment of the products purchased).

Cookies
The indicated websites use session cookies. These cookies are only used to transmit the session ID codes (composed of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the site to be browsed safely and efficiently and their use eliminates the need to resort to other IT techniques that might potentially compromise the privacy level of the user’s browsing experience. Said cookies do not allow any personal data that may identify the user to be acquired. Saggio Srl websites do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature, nor do they use a number of persistent cookies of any type, or systems for tracking the users.
Optional user consent
With the exception of that specified above regarding the browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data reported on the request forms. Failing to provide these may make it impossible for the user’s request to be met.
